< period design="font-size: 140 %;"> In 2016, touch screens are ubiquitous. The idea of a smart device or tablet computer not equipped with a touch-sensitive, ‘& lsquo; swipeable & rsquo; display is practically unthinkable. While the innovation itself is well-established and also reputable, there are a few problems that may restrict future versions of the much-used touch display.

Medals from both West Point and San Francisco U.S. Mints are now available for pre-sale!
ModernCoinMart (MCM) is happy to announce that the 2016 Proof Silver American Liberty Medals are now available to purchase! Collectors hoped for these Silver Medals back in 2015, but they were never minted. Finally in 2016, the U.S. Mint struck Silver Medals that share the design from the beautiful 2015 $100 1 oz. Gold American Liberty Coins issued last year. Collectors around the world eagerly awaited to purchase their share of the medals from the U.S. Mint when they were released on August 23rd at noon (ET). Due to the overwhelming number of collectors waiting to purchase, these medals were sold out from the Mint within 5 minutes!
Unlike the gold coin, each of these medals boast a fine proof finish. A modern depiction of Liberty is found on its obverse, holding a torch in her right hand and a U.S. Flag in her left. The reverse design shows an eagle in flight, holding an olive branch in its talons. Both of these classic American symbols are designed in sharp detail and look especially incredible with the proof finish! To the collectors who were unable to purchase the High Relief Gold Liberty coin earlier this year due to budget constraints, the Silver Liberty Medal provides a more affordable opportunity to add this design to their collection.
MCM is offering these medals in original Mint packaging, as well as graded by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) in a variety of options, including Early Releases & First Releases designations, Silver Foil labels, Black Core Holders, and more. Additionally, NGC labels that have been hand-signed by John Mercanti are available in limited quantities! Coins certified by the Professional Coin Grading Service will soon be available.
Check out what MCM have on their website or call the number above to reserve your 2016 Proof Silver American Liberty Medals with the Early Releases or First Strike designations, they may not last long!
In 2016, touch screens are ubiquitous. The notion of a smartphone or tablet not outfitted with a touch-delicate, &lsquoswipeable&rsquo display is virtually unthinkable. Whilst the technological innovation itself is properly-established and trustworthy, there are a couple of concerns that may possibly restrict future iterations of the considerably-utilized touch screen.
